Guests will discover the highlights of the island, starting from the Catalan town of Alghero, passing through the west coast and arriving at the wonderful city of Cagliari. The second part of the tour is more challenging, covering the Barbagia region near to Nuoro, Mamoiada and Orgosolo - two small villages well known for their traditions of masks and murals, which have become the symbols of the island and therefore, deserve a visit. Finally, guests will arrive at the world famous Costa Smeralda and La Maddalena Island.

Itinerary

Itinerary:

1^st day: ALGHERO - Arrival at the airport. Pick up of the car and transfer to the city centre. A whole day will be at the guests' disposal to visit Alghero and the Coral Coast. Overnight stay.

2^nd day: ALGHERO - BOSA - THARROS - Departure to Bosa via the panoramic coastline road, followed by a visit to Bosa, the only Sardinian town on a navigable river. The trip continues with the visit of the Punic-Roman city of Tharros. Overnight stay at Barumini.

3^rd day: BARUMINI - CAGLIARI - The day starts with a visit to Barumini, the only archaeological site in Sardinia recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The trip continues towards Cagliari for the visit of the capital. Overnight stay.

4^thday: NUORO - ORGOSOLO - MAMOIADA - The day will be dedicated to visiting Nuoro and a few villages in the interior of Sardinia: Mamoiada, known for traditional masks and Orgosolo, with over one hundred murals. Overnight stay in Orosei.

5^th day: OROSEI - COSTA SMERALDA - Visit to the wild beaches of Orosei. Transfer to the world famous Emerald Coast. Visit and overnight stay.

6^th day: LA MADDALENA - SANTA TERESA - Now, guests will head towards Palau, take a boat for a 30 minute cruise and finally arrive on the Island of La Maddalena. Visit to Caprera Island. Back to Palau towards Santa Teresa and Capo Testa.. Overnight stay.

7^th day: CASTELSARDO - ALGHERO - Departure to Castelsardo. Visit of this charming medieval town. Back to Alghero to drop off the car at the car rental.

Cancellation policy

-20% is deducted for cancellations over 45 days before the arrival date.
-30% is deducted for cancellations from 15 to 44 days before the arrival date.
-50% is deducted for cancellations from 8 to 14 days before the arrival date.
-100% is deducted for cancellations within 7 days before the arrival date.

Children Policy

-Children from 3 to 11 years travelling with both parents will receive a 20% discount.

-The child seat for the car has to be paid locally at the car rental.

The rate includes:

Car rental for category B vehicles (Fiat Punto / Lancia Y / Opel Corsa or Sim) from the arrival in the morning of the 1^st day until the evening of the 7^th day.
Unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver and theft protection with no excess.
6 nights' stay at three or four star hotels or other accommodation in double rooms. With private bathroom (3 people will be provided with a triple room, 4 people will be provided with 2 rooms). The package includes breakfast.

Local assistance.
