You will find plenty of "Nuraghi", typical and unique in Sardinia in fact you cannot find them somewhere else in the world, sacred wells, punician and roman city almost perfectly maintained. The archeology in Sardinia starts even from the pre-historical period and can really surprise everyone, even the people with a lot of knowledge of this argument.

Itinerary
1st day: Cagliari

On arrival in Alghero, you pick up for the car to get a transfer to the city. The whole day will be spent visiting the ancient "Karalis". It is advisable to start the tour from the quarter called Marina, the magnificent historic centre, the important Roman Amphitheatre, Castello with its medieval walls, beautiful monuments and an archaeological museum, with invaluable nuragic exhibits. Overnight stay.

2nd day: Cagliari - Pula & Nora

During the morning you can complete the visit of Cagliari. The trip continues towards Nora and Pula. Nora is a Phoenician city, considered one of the most important archeological sites of the island. A visit to the near Museum of Pula, that holds most of the finds founded during the excavation, is recommended. Overnight stay in S. Anna Arresi or in other hotel in this area.

3rd day: Nebida - Masua - Antas Temple

Head to Iglesias, a town with a surprising charm and with a historic centre well worth a visit. Moving on towards the north coast, you will get to a small village called Nebida. This is a small town, where a brief stop is recommended, to stroll along a stunning pedestrianised walk. Moving on northbound, after Masua, you will come to the fascinating Roman Temple of Antas, built on the ruins of a previous Punic temple dated 500 b.C. Overnight stay in Arbus or in other hotel in this area.

4th day: Barumini

You will be heading towards Barumini, the famous nuragic complex of Su Nuraxi, accepted by UNESCO. This impressive monument is the biggest settlement of Nuragic civilization of the island dating back to the XV century b.C. We suggest a visit to the near Museum "Casa Zapata". Following the trip you will arrive to Orroli. Overnight stay in hotel.

5th day: Serri - Goni

The morning is dedicated to visit the sanctuary of S. Vittoria of Serri, one of Sardinia's most important archaeological sites, owing to its rich and wide structures, its refined architecture and finally the richness of its findings, exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Cagliari. In the south of Orroli you will find Goni, a suggestive archeological site immersed in a luxuriant cork-oak wood. The Necropolis of Pranu Mutteddu is surrounded by an interrupted series of 50 menhirs and round buildings of likely sacred nature. Back to the Hotel for the overnight stay.

6th day: Cagliari

Time at your disposal for relax or other individual activities. During the day drive back to Alghero. The car is to be handed over to the car rental once back in airport, where our services end.
